The donkey

I extracted the donkey with a calculations mask. (Seemed to be the easiest way because of the high contrast.)

After desaturating the donkey I mostly followed the tutorial, using the brush for highlights, use find edges filter and invert it. Set layer to screen mode. Then used brush again along with eraser to fix some parts. I also had to make a copy layer, 'cause donkey was too light.
And of course I cropped bckgr to get the final result.
