Ok, in this step by step guide, I'll show you anyone can make photorealistic works! You just need a bit of patience and common sense, witch I'm sure you can find pretty easily! ;)

Ok, first step:
Start by making a plane and desired 3D text. I'm sure everyone can do that, if not, there are tutorials on the net about how to make 3D Text.

Switch to VRay renderer (if you have VRay).

To switch to VRay in 3D's Max, go to:

Rendering>Render Setup> Scroll Down and open the tab "Assign renderer", click Browse of the first field and pick Vray.

Then add a VRay light.

step 3 of 6

Open Materials Editor by pressing M, Pick a material (ball) And down, right from the name of the material, click the button "Standard", A list opened, pick VRay Mtl.

Press a button next to diffuse and pick Bitmap, this allows us to apply a texture to our plane. Press the "Go to Parent" Button above "Bitmap" button.

Then go down to Maps and apply the same ground texture (bricks) we used for diffuse, apply it to bump. Increase the bump to 60.

And... Here are the final render settings.

Make sure you have test settings applied, before applying final settings, because there are already some things set correctly in the test settings.
