A Work in Progress: Wooden mask

Started with a plane and modelled the left half of the mask. I then used mirror modifier to make the right side. Also used boolean and smooth to complete the mask.

The mug was made from a spline with lathe on it, then I used edit poly for the handle. I also smoothened it later.

The lamp was created from simple objects like cylinders and splines.

Placed my objects, lights and a camera for the final image. Also made a table from a plane and put it underneath all the other objects.

The materials I used, all original with 3ds max 2011.

I combined different wood materials and the tinfoil material to get the material for my mask.

I rendered an ambient occlusion render for the shadows. Also rendered a zdepth pass for the blur, added with photoshop lens blur filter.
