Free hand doodling, flipping them as I go. Changed the background to blue using color adjustments.

Using the picture and my own hand as reference, sketched in the hand.

Layers for different parts of the hand.

Dodge/burn on the different layers, then smudge to blend

Dual brush for the jacket texture

Big dots of color, a circle of dark color for shading, dodge/burn, copies, then scattered.

Wet media brush and blur for felt texture. Burn for shadows.
