step four couldn't be uploaded, there was something wrong with my file. But that step is where i desaturated skin tones and brought out more of the facial features with burning and dodging.
the image below is technically step 5, but...you can see the work i did on the eyes specifically with a seperate layer of just color, then did some work to bring out the definition of the eyes.

started building the background. extracted the vampire and placed it in front of the castle.

lightning added to the sky...layer set to screen

gradient layers were added, along with some fog.
final step i did a color overlay over the entire image.
