step 1 of 5
i used the shape tool(heart) on the main source...selected the amber layer, copied and pasted...then erased the unwanted part of the amber

next i duplicated the heart layer, moved with the move tool and erased the unwanted parts on the left hand side

next i used the cracks brush
step 4 of 5
next i added a layer, dragged it to the bottom and filled with red and added a little noise
step 5 of 5
next step i used the splatter brush
