I searched the net, but couldn't find a book I liked, thankfully I found an old book at home and was able to take this photo.

I started with the background stump image.

The top of the image was too bright, so I added a black to transparent gradient.

I added the flower, using the puppet warp to bend the stem. Then I added a triangle of light colour at a very low opacity with a gaussian blur for the light.

Here I added the book and girl, using the puppet warp to bend the girls neck so she is looking at the book. I also added shadows for the book and girl.
step 6 of 6
To create the hat I used the puppet warp tool. Then I added some extra shadows and finished by adding a photo warming filter.
