Layered and blended wood. Color adjustment and free transform for size. Liquify for tree shape.

Different shades and textures of wood. Painted a leaf, then used it as a stencil. Placed it over the wood, used the magic wand to outline it, then copied. Placed all the leaves on one layer, far enough apart ot cut them out later. Put 2 different color balance adj. layers, brightness/contrast adj. layer and hue/saturation adj. layer over the leaves. Inversed one color balance and brightness/contrast, then swished a soft brush over everything in a random pattern.
