STEP 1 ~ I used a fluid mask to help cut the bin out.

I created the hilight lines by using pen paths stroked with a small brush.
step 3 of 4
Then I used the opacity adjust to keep an original part of the bin showing through slightly.
step 4 of 4
A soft light layer of #666666 grey and went over it with black to darken, white to lighten.
