Create creepy coloration of skin and eyes in camera raw then open in photoshop

Select out and remove from background

Using liquify deform features and bloat eyes

Desaturate image to create a paler complexion while masking out eyes to maintain color.

Add layer and fill with 50% grey and set to Overlay. Use this layer to perform your burning on to exaggerate the wrinkles and curves.

Creating another layer as in the previous step, use this for performing the dodging on the highlights to create more realism in the wrinkles.

Fit the fangs in the mouth masking out to create a natural look. Add a hue and saturation adjustment layer setting it to recolor with a pleasing blood red color. set layer to multiply. Then mask out all but the mouth and fill with varied opacities.

Create new layer behind the head layer, this will be where you draw in the hair. I used black and a brush that I created by making quite a few dots spaced a variety of space apart and defining it as a custom brush. Not perfect, but it does the trick.

create a new layer above the head layer and continue adding hair following a fairly natural growth pattern.

Another layer on top, add some other colors in to give depth and I added gray streaks on either side.

At this point merge all your layers and make sure your shading is how you want it, you can always add more dodge and burn layers if you want.

I saturated the colors in the moonlit sky stock that I found to give a bit more dramatic look to it and then moved my vampire onto the blood moon image into the lower corner. Size it until you are happy with how it fits.

Once I had it all together I thought it needed something to bring everything together so I duplicated the background layer and put it on top and setting blend mode to soft light. That seemed to do the trick for me so I stopped there.
