Section of hair source is cropped out to be color changed and made into fireworks.

Another of the hair source sections is colored in greens. Contrast heightened brings some of strands forward. This will become one of the layers of fireworks.

Colored layers were each made larger with scale tool, then placed on top of each other, each one being lowered in opacity so that all colors will show their brighter 'strands' through the others. The pagoda is chopped, then duplicated 4 times, each one scaled to smaller size to surround the larger gazebo.

The windows of the gazebos are all yellowed then noise filter added. Some burning later will add a little more interest.

Yellow filter is now added, then cut back in opacity to desired amount of yellow is reached (about 20%)

Brightness and contrast is brought up on building.

Canvas is lengthened here and add'l area is colored dark blue with paint brush tool.

Figures are chopped, then added after scaling to fit bottom area. They are color changed to dark reddish color to reflect color of fireworks.

Silhouettes are added now with purplish look after duplicating them. This layer is placed on top of reddish layer, but slightly offset so that they will look like they are reflecting the light of the fireworks. The burn tool will be used to blend edges.

The silhouette image is duplicated, flipped horizontally, then added below the first silhouette image. A brown filter is added over entire merged image. Final adjustments are made to color with hue adjustment tool.
