First I put the source image in to photoshop. I then made it black and white.

I then used the curves option to change the light/dark balence.

I then opened an image of mine that I already had.

I cut the image out using the magic wand tool

I moved the person in to the picture, changed it to black and white and used curves to change the balance. I opened the blend options for that layer and added a shadow, I adgusted it so that it was against the wall.

I pasted the image of the crack in to my picture and adgusted it to the shape of the floor.

I then changed that layer to black and white

I then changed it to vivid light to blend it to the picture.
