In this step I drew two very basic figures. I did this using the brush tool.

Using the radial gradient tool I gave the back ground a bright red to dark red gradient.

I used a smaller brighter red brush tool and traced over the figures.
step 4 of 6
In this step I used the splatter brushes in various spots on the art work.

I then used the texture image I found on CG Textures. I placed it above the background image and set its blending mode to hard light.

I then used the burn and dodge tools at about 20% to create some higlights and shadows on the figures.
