Mountains isolated and canvas resized

Sky added behind the mountain range and the ground was added to the image and placed roughly where i wanted it to be.

Ground blended using layer masks and a soft brush at varying opacities. The top of the mountains were also slightly masked to match lighting.

Head extracted with the pen tool and added into the image

Shadows added by adding various layers and painting in black, then blurring it. To achieve the shading around the face, the layer mode 'Soft Light' was used.
