step 1 of 4

made the front of the card very simple. painted one vintage lady on a white layer, then moved her towards the bottom of the card front. cut out the white around her to reveal the layer below, and painted a maroon color. typed lines using stock font and dropped shadow under the words.

step 2 of 4

made inside of card using nurse brush (source listed) in the maroon color used on the front of the card, on a white background. painted a black shadow below the nurse layer using a soft round brush. use glossy blood splatter brushes with a bright red. drop shadow on that layer to give some dimension.

type text using floydian font (source listed), dropped shadow, added inner glow.

perspective of cards adjusted, front of card layer is given a drop shadow. black layer has partical smoke brushes to paint the red, opacity set at 35%
