Waterfall is first moved into the 20 x 20 canvas for background, then standing girl is moved in and cropped to become a fairy.

Butterfly is chopped and moved into scene, then cut in half with eraser tool to be blended into girl's body.

Using liquify warp tool, the wing is shaped for angel wing. Color from wing will be used with clone tool to make the fairy's dress.

Floral ring is added to standing fairy's head and small girl is chopped and moved into scene. She will have eraser tool used to thin her body to be clothed in butterfly wing design using clone tool.

Fairy to ride tortoise is finished with dress cloned from her wings. Wings are same as on larger fairy, just flipped horizontally and scaled smaller. Moon is also added to scene, chopped and then color changed using hue/saturation tool.

Moon fairy has wings drawn in and colors of wings cloned onto light blue covering on body.

Tortoise has been chopped and added to layer under small fairy, then shadows added. Ferns have been designed and drawn with brush tool, varying shades of green and adding veins in leaves with smudge tool. Shading is done with burn tool, then finished fern is duplicated and moved to other places within composition. Some are also turned with rotation tool. Stars are added to the sky with brush tool, and magic wand is drawn with brush tool into standing fairy's hand, then stars added to it.

More ferns and flowers completed, and dragonfly drawn into sky with brush tool. Motion blur is added to dragonfly.

Finally all visible layers are merged and a dark blue filter is placed over the entire piece. Opacity is lowered to 90% to cut a little of the blue.
