I created a new layer, drew a circle and filled with light gray.

With burn and dodge tools I gave some roundness to the ball.

On a new layer, using pen tool, I drew the front glass; filled with black.

With soft brush and dodge tool, I created the reflection on front glass; after that, made its selection, and on spaceship layer, I deleted this part; applicated bevel and emboss.

On a new layer I drew a circle and filled with green; after I used inner and outer glow, to simulate a light; on another layer, I drew the stick of the light, and put bevel and emboss.

Another layer, and with the pen tool I drew the base. I used bevel and emboss, dodge and burn tools to create shadows.

I opened a new layer on the top of source image, drew an elipse and filled with black; put some blur filter and lowered the opacity and created the spaceship shadow. After that, on a new layer on the top of all layers, I selected a rectangle under the base of the spaceship, used gradient tool with white color; lowered the opacity, using a soft eraser on the laterals, and after that distorted it to simulate white light beams.
