step 1 of 7

First I used a cylinder for the crown and moved the top verts so that the back was lower than the front. Then I deleted some polys in the back to make an opening and capped the ends. I extruded some edges around the crown to give it some texture.

For the foil wings I used a plane deleted some polys and moved some verts to form the shape. I then selected the outside edges and extruded them out the back to make the shape look more solid.

step 3 of 7

For the snake I started with a plane and using a reference pic and edge select I added more polys to get the final shape. I then extruded the outer edges out the back of the snake, mirrored the snake behind the original and attached the copy to the original and welded the verts.

The half moon is made from a cylinder, by deleting some polys and welding some verts til you get the shape you wanted. The snake and the wing are just mirrored to the other side.

Before I mirrored the snake I uv mapped it and made a bump map in photoshop to give the snake more texture. I gave the bump around 15%.
