i took the source photo and erased the clips. then i moved it to a new document and flipped it. then i made a copy of it and flipped it vertical. then on the first wood layer i used the perspective transform and added some burn to the wood layers.

then i added the dirt. i changed the levels of the dirt to give it a darker tone to it. then i added some burn to it

then i added the helmet and the bullets

then i added the rope.

then i added the picture and some shadows

then i used a soft brush and on a new layer i added a ring of black then i changed the opacity. then on a new layer i added another ring of black and changed the opacity.

then i added a hue and saturation overlay to give it an old look.
