Duplicated the foreground and set to multiply.

Added the flipped Lunar module "Eagle" and the flag into the image.

Added Buzz Aldrin and one of the experiment packages. The image is flipped to match the shadows. The flag on Buzz's backpack is re-flipped.

A shadow for Buzz Aldrin was missing in the original NASA image. I lassoed Buzz and transformed it to make a selection. The selection was used to duplicated a layer of the foreground. This layer then was darkened in different ways turning it into a shadow.

Most NASA images have a distinct look with crosses of a grid. Added such a grid.

Added some blur and noise to the foreground to match the original NASA image.

The final image has some additional curves and lighting
