First I found this free stock photo

Next by simply copying and pasting parts of this same layer I created a more complex crack image

by placing the cracks image over the background image and setting the transfer mode to multiply then using the same copy and pasting method and by using the clone stamp brush in about 3 hours I had the entire skeleton covered with cracks

using the quick selection tool to select all the holes I then deleted the cracked overlapping

Using the polygonal lasso tool I selected the bottom haves of the arms, Deleted them then used the clone stamp tool to fill in the blank areas
