Owl was cut ou and colour was matched with the background. The eye was changed as to look as if it was made of stone. Hard light blending and displace filtre were applied.

Exposure, brightness/contrast and vibrance adjusment layers were applied.

Shadows were added then.

To add stain to the owl body I applied a grunge brush, changed its hue/saturation and applied overlay blending.

I wrote a word using Symbol Font and applied Pillow Emboss.

In a new layer I created the light, applied overlay blending and 50% opacity.

I duplicated the light layer, changed its blending to normal and its opacity to 60%.

In a new layer I added shadow to the background.

In a new layer at the top I merged all layers, duplicated this layer, equalized it and applied 20% gaussian blur. Then overlay blending and 60% opacity were applied.
