step 1 of 2

This is the start of my project that I used the fonts JayCons, Asian Dings,
and JLR Chinese Love Letters for all the designs for a box that could be
made of print cardstock. I worked hard getting things to line up once folded up
so my only problem with this on the computer display was how to get it to look
the same on screen. My solution was to create a 3d cube and place each of the
panels into one of the squares lining them up as I went. Very fun and challenging
I went with an asian theme because of the interesting type faces that were available. This is how it looked laid out for printing.

step 2 of 2

I used Photoshop cs4 to create a 3d cube from a blank layer. Once that was done, I proceeded to select out each square of my design and apply them to the separate sides, guessing on positions as I went. I then made several copies of the finished cubes and angled them in ways that you would be able to view it all. As I said, was just playing around.
