A Work in Progress: Mars Circle

step 1 of 32

This step is kind of obvious. :P

If I don't describe what I did for certain images, its because I already did something similar in a previous step.

Created more shapes on the same layer.

Added some more shapes then I cut circles out of the current shape.

Copied then flip horizontally.

step 5 of 32

Copied then flip vertically. Cut out circle in the center.

Copied and paste at a 90 degree angle.

Added more shapes.

Copied then paste horizontally. Later added a circle.

Created a couple circles in the previous step. Then I copied flip horizontally and vertically.

In the last step I copied then rotate. In this step I copied cut, copied cut a couple times.

Created rings.

-Used cloud filter
-Invert cloud
-Applied a couple filters from the filter gallery. If you try experimenting you will get the same result. One filter gives it a rocky surface(I think emboss, can't remember).

This is the result.

Overlayed previously created crop circle.

Added some layer effects.

Created ufo.

step 31 of 32

Ufo has moved to the right quadrant of the image. Now casts a shadow.
