1. First I used the background for the final background by using the pattern stamp tool and removing the hand and filling the corners for a smoother pattern.

2. Then I used magnetic lasso tool to select the hand and dragged to the main canvas.

3. Using the rectangular marquee tool to select a small portion of the bottom of the hand then used free transform to stretch. I used pattern stamp tool to blend wrist.

4. Then dragged this layer over to the main canvas.

5. Selecting sections of the extended wrist and using polygonal lasso tool to make ends meet in a 45 degree angle.

6. Dragged each piece over to add to it using the same previous steps.

7. Used free transform to stretch sections to fit and merged layers to make one complete hand and bent arm layer.

8. Dragged several of the main-arm layer to the main canvas, using free transform and rotate canvas to position each is different sizes. Used less brightness to change the shade.

9. I made a final arm layer and resized and then using free transform to extend the wrist. Used brightness/contrast to make much darker. Then used free transform to layer into the background in various positions.
