A Work in Progress: Pinwheel

1. First, taking only the source image, I used magnetic lasso to select the leaf.

2. Dragged the leaf over to a blank pallet then used free transform to adjust position.

3. Made 4 of the same layer.

4. Adjusted the color balance for each layer leaf.

5. Dragged each colored leaf over to a new pallet and then used rotate canvas to position each new layer in a compass position.

6. I merged the visible layers so that I could move them as one layer.

7. I now have 4 different colored star-shaped layers to work with.

8. Using the Rotate canvas/arbitrary adding 5 degrees every time and then reducing size of each by 250 pixels. Then dragged each new adjustment to the center main image.

9. Then dragged each new adjustment to the center main image.

10. I repeated the same two previous steps with each later until the final star was 250.

11. I then created a new pallet to drab the pinwheel image to the new canvas. Then merged visible to move to the background and rotated 45 degrees and put it in the background to produce the final result, centering it once again.
