Selections of three different images which will be my chinese patterns.

Fan construction.
I selected the hand using the pen tool. Then copied and rotated it multiple times, till I got a circle made out of hands. Then cropped half of the circle.

Selected the bottom part of an original chinese fan and added my hands half circle on top of it.

Colored first fan in pink using hue/saturation and added flower blossoms as a pattern.

Added chinese temple onto the second fan.

Colored third fan in green using hue/saturation and added dragons.

Placed all three fans in different positions.

Added light on the right and dropped shadows for fans.

Added crumpled paper backround, changed blending mode to overlay.
