Firstly I added a sandstone texture to the leaf.

Then I added my own grasshopper image after selecting it with the pen tool and copying and pasting it.

I used the sandstone texture on the grasshopper.

I then adjusted the brightness and contrast.

I added shadow to grasshopper.
