A Work in Progress: Five Bucks

Begin with a new canvas. I used 8x10 @ 150dpi, white.

I chose a radial gradient layer in my color of choice.

Here I applied the old paper bursh with a brownish-black color at med opacity.

I found this great brush set to make the "bucks". Using as a stamp, I used each brush in varrying sizes to give a little depth and overlapped some to create the herd look!

I drew a set of cross-hairs in black paint and transformed them into the look of matel using the Alien Skin Impact filter set on gold chrome. Then lowered the opacity to 56%.

I added a border using a border corner brush and the Alien Skin Impact - glass filter.
