A Work in Progress: Strings on Swans

The clay ground in perspective on a black background

added the red curtain

added the bass

put the wing over the bass

Made the bow/stick myself. Just a square filled with brown, rendered some fibers on it in a darker color. Multiplied this layer several times, nudged and merged those layers to give it depth. Added a black belt behind it and finished with shadows.

added the 2nd swan

Transplanted the neck and head

step 9 of 10

made the strings, just 3 pixels wide lines. added some bevel to them

step 10 of 10

justified the overall color of the image
