I began with a plian oval of color.

Using the liquify filter and white paint, I got the profile I wanted.

This is where the changes came into play! It was to close to the likeness of Shrek so I made these major changes.

The head was replaced with the new one.

The new figure was moved onto the same canvas as before and blended to make the joining seamless. Seeing as I had to make changes anyway, I took the advice of some of you and made the tree less flowery by deleting a layer from the psd.
