lets begin with a simple gradient backgroud

and now time to add some clouds (use Render>clouds option).. i hav chose green and black color

now to create a spae effect.. add few astroids running aroud.. the brush scattered around will help u.

now is th hero of the design. make the planet with the below steps.. have used all the glow and shadow options with the help of olor black and then did a blur.

now time for the light... u can design your own light. mine is made his way...

now a ray of light.. jus use the gradient tool (from yelow to white) and change the light to the overlay moe to create a lighting effect.

now that u gave a glow.. give some lens flare (Render>Lens flare) and a funny element woul always help.. put a sale board (shadow impt.. as it facs the light).. and here is the planet ready for sale.
