A Work in Progress: muddy face

First I imported the image to lightroom, and did some adjustmenst in the basic section:
exposure: + 0,38
recovery: 70
fill light: 70
blacks: 7
contrast 70
clarity: 70
vibrance: 70
saturation: -67

After that, I also did some adjustments in the vignettes section:
lens correction, amount: -100
midpoint: 20

In photoshop I first duplicated the layer, and added a gaussian blur (20 px). This layer I made 50 % opaque.

I added a layer mask, filled it with black, and painted her skin with a soft brush (white colour). This made her skin more soft, without softening her hear, eyes or mouth.

step 4 of 4

Then I used burn and dodge tool on her shirt and in her eyes. This has to be done on the background layer.
Dodge range: highlights, exposure 20 %
