Make a cut-out using the famous pen tool.

Impose the flare effect with the other part of the melon by using clone tool.

Cut out all unnecessary part of the picture with pen tool. Don't bother about the hair part yet.

Fuse the hair part with the background using layer masking technique.

Make some copies of the berries (I think...) and scatter them across the pictures. Use gaussian blur to blur the edge of the copies to make it more realistic.

Use blur tool to improve all edges of the significant cut-out. (Pardon my language, I not Caucasian...) Use burn tool to make a slight shadow under the melon's plate. Then use highlight/shadow option to decrease the highlights on the strawberries. (The lighting on the strawberries is showing in the wrong direction of my perspective)
