Use the magic wand tool (noncontiguous) to select the sky. Use the hue/saturation tool to make the sky a dark blue.

Render lighting effects.

Use the Variations tool to make the picture more orange and the shadows more blue and dark.

Use the elliptical marquee tool to select the shadow underneath the birdhouse. Save the selection. Render lens flare in the shadow.

Copy a piece of the bottom part of the lamppost and paste it on the top. Use your saved selection to make it conform.

Render lighting effects for the image again to get the desired effect.

Add more lens flares, this time smaller.
step 8 of 8
Use the blur tool to make the leaves and the sky come together better and touch up the rest of the image.
