This was an experiment in using adjustment layers. When I mention them, I've used Layer>New Adjustment Layer and then one, some or all of Levels, Curves, Color Balance, Brightness/Contrast and Hue/Saturation. I also tossed in Layer>Layer Style>Inner Shadow for good measure.
