step 1 of 4

I only had blue jelly so I worked with this. The model isn't me - The photograph was taken at 6 megapixels on a Finepix SLR camera around 4.pm today.

step 2 of 4

I used a mask to cut the jelly away from the background and applied a gradient map over the re-coloured object. The GMap was the simplest way to colour the jelly. I chose the colours from the image of the foot.

step 3 of 4

This is how I twisted the jelly using the warp tool. I would have liked to use the Liquid filter but my computer woudnt come at it. I also removed some of the image from around the base and from near where the foot would have entered the jelly.

Creation of Foot in it: Step 3

step 4 of 4

Because of the size and speed of my computer (not great) I have to split my work up into several files. This image shows how the completed parts were brought together.
It was necessary to have two jelly layers which were masked differently so that only parts of the foot showed through. The full image is semi transparent. The partial image is nearly 100%.
