Took the photo and added an orange layer that covered everything but faucet and put it as soft light.

Filled the rest in with red for the faucet and the blood.

Added blood and scratches on the wall with some red paint and a textured/splattered brush.

Turned the water into blood by selecting the original water and duplicating it and then selecting that layer and filling it with red. Duplicated that twice and set the layer to Multiply.
step 5 of 6
Merged all layers together onto one layer, and then set the layer to Multiply.
step 6 of 6
Added a curves adjustment layer to give it a dramatic lighting effect.
