The grasshopper was added into the image of the empire state building. The limbs were extended and blended to fit.

A soft black brush was added to a layer beneath that of the grasshopper. And the opacity was reduced to 44%

The stormy sky was added and resized; it was then roughly blended in with the buildings. I chose an image of a stormy sky that matched with the lighting of the building.

I added a match colour adjustment to both the buildings and the grasshopper, followed by brightness/contrast adjustments.
step 5 of 5
Grunge texture was then added, overlayed and blended.
