Close cut toes

After close cut bring into liquify and bloat.

Add a new layer of bloated toes and do some merging.

Close cut a leg from real centipede image

Close cut then bring into liquify and warp to a nice shape

Add antenna and then start positioning legs one by one with copies of the antenna (of course you will have multiple layers of the same thing)

Once you do one side, merge then make duplicate layer, then flip.

Add you body above the leg layers then do some cloning and fine tuning of your image. Add shadows with brush tool.
