A Work in Progress: almost winter

step 1 of 6

I started by creating a new high key layer

step 2 of 6

On a mask I then revealed the bits I still wanted to show in strong colour

step 3 of 6

I de saturated the bottom layer.

step 4 of 6

I darkened the clouds on the bottom layer

step 5 of 6

i created some falling snow.

step 6 of 6

I lowered the opacity on the 'light' layer.
