Selected shoes from background with magic wand tool, then cleaned up edges with polygonal lasso tool.

Then did a layer overlay mode on shoe layer above.

A black and white layer below can add some shadow and depth. adjust the opacity to what you want.
step 4 of 4
Clean up the edges with add layer mask and just erase with a small brush and the color black selected.
