Very sweet, nice mood (very intimate) and colors. This is quite beautiful. However, the shading/treatment in the crossing of the legs is not possible, the thigh of the leg behind should be over lapping. Otherwise quite exquisite. If you have a full length mirror available, sit w/ crosses legs in front of it, in a similar position as your artwork, and you'll see that the outside thigh should be higher for the leg to be able to cross in that manner. Isn't fire just radiating tendrils of light?
Fire doesn't have to be warm in color - there are plenty of combustibles that burn blue, or green, or even pink!

I agree with the fact that there doesn't seem to be any fire, realistic or otherwise. While you did a beautiful job on this, I think it would have been better suited to a fantasy contest in order to get the most appreciation. Reply »
