This needs some work when you look at it in high res. The edges are a little crooked. Some of the red bleeds out over the original edge. I can tell you used a font to cover the lettering and I'm not sure if that is what you were going for as far as your look. Please don't get mad because I suggested something. Thanks. I'll come back and vote later.

jawshoewhah, no worries, with the font, i wasnt going for that, but i couldnt quite cut the edges (had no mouse at the time), thanks a lot for taking the time to view the hi res, keep up the suggestions...

Nice thinking...try using a fine, thin brush with nearly no roundness and scatter closely to give the look of a hair edge where the skin meets the goatee. Just a thought.
