Thank you! Does someone sees a pinkish tone in the image? it appeared when i uploaded so i'm thinking of compensating for it in post. Reply »
I can't see any pink tinge either. It a great, fun portrait. Love the little boy in the BG too waiting for his trike to come back

Steelwool spinned pretty fast under a bridge. Nothing exploded, but i consider this little experiment as success anyway. (1 year and 17 days ago)
Whoa. Colors look very greenish. am i the only one having this problem? Reply »
actually, you will get a greenish overtone sometimes with long exposures when certain parts have a different lighting. It's a white balance issue. You don't have consistent lighting over your scene. Sometimes you'll get different tones with different lengths of exposures. Reciprocity is a wonderful thing. Reply »
Thank you for favs and comments! The original image doesn't look as greenish as this one. But i guess it's not that huge of a problem

It certainly looks broken to me.
Feel free to count the parts. just to make sure it really is broken :) (2 years and 43 days ago)
Thanks for the comments everybody!
@Perathor. the shutterspeed was 1/6400s @ 8 FPS. and F/8. (i think)
@Mperri. they're just fine. i told the to wear helmet and bulletproof vests so no harm done.

This is a 17 minutes exposure @ ƒ/3,5 (342 days ago)
Thank you Kyricom! Nope, no stacking. This is right by a lake with not any town near to it. therefore i could go for a such long exposure. Reply »
I've done 100+ minute exposures with my sensor still going strong.
I've also tried pointing a laser directly at the sensor without burning it.
Dang those Nikonsensors are tough!
Reply »
Yep - I have taken a 64 minute exposure on my entry level Canon with no problems. Sounds like one of those urban myths to me. The idea of stacking is better image quality (less noise) Reply »
The reason why i didn't stack was i didn't knew about that technique at the time.
I've pointed a laser into my sensor. how bout' that Canonians? :P Reply »
pfft! You getting any older yet?
Good to see you around.
Nice job and congrats buddy.

This was one of my first studioportraits. The photo is using a black background and a big softbox as fill.
As backlight there's an elinchrome without modifiers. (303 days ago)

this is an AWESOME shot! Do you know what would have made it absolutely perfect for the theme though? If you showed the other eggs already shot down in the pic also. Hmmm, but maybe the detail of the egg wouldn't be as great as it is being close as it is...hmmm. THIS IS AWESOME! Reply »
