Since I never got to finish my entry for Mars colony last week I have decided to take part of it. The Alien Power Hub and adapt it for this contest.
The glowing object is the core. A fusion reactor balanced by the magnets all the way around. They also pull the power from the orb and transmit it wirelessly into the base plates below. (5 years and 2421 days ago)

Hi all, this is modelled in 3ds max 2011 and rendered in Vray.For the cloth i used Cloth modifier and for all the textures i used autodesk material library.Have a look at my work and feel free to post your comments. (5 years and 2735 days ago)
The tub looks too small in proportion to the fixtures.
Also, the strong light on the floor in the left hand corner is too dominant for the composition and is distracting.
superb render. I think the taps are slightly too large also. Great job though.
Hi MossyB and RichieMB thanks for your comments.I purposely did the taps bigger as the taps we are using nowadays are so small and it takes more time to fill the tub. In my tub the flow of water will be so high that the tub will get filled so quicker.
Brighter version was better for me
