Rumi: can meshes be manipulated and to what degree (1 year and 109 days ago)
r1k3r: Hi Rumi, my original suggestion was to create a believable Star Trek still using the meshes from the site above. If you manipulate the meshes then they would kinda fall outside of the Star Trek Canon. However I know the site does have ships that are not from the Star Trek canon up there, so I don't see why not. As long as you can still tell the ship is Federation, Borg, Romulan, Klingon etc. I guess in the end though it's up to the MOD.... (1 year and 108 days ago)
Titan85: Hey there, I use Maya and I'm unable to find a maya compatible mesh on the site. Can someone download the U.S.S. Enterprise-A mesh for max, convert it to a .obj and send it my way? Otherwise I wont be able to enter into this contest. (1 year and 108 days ago)
r1k3r: http://meshlab.sourceforge.net/ D/L this and it will convert the mesh from 3ds into .obj for you It's free BTW (1 year and 108 days ago)
CoyDog: For everyone doing this contest you should look at WWW.LCARSCOM.NET for texture for the LCAR in the interior scenes..

Star detail is not visible in preview image, so check the HiRes! I picked the USS Kilimanjaro based on the amount of detail, since the contest is about realism. (1 year and 98 days ago)

The hangar bay chief, in his pressure suit, watches on as a shuttle prepares for launch. The Intrepid's hangar bay door force field has been operating intermittently, therefore all engineering personnel are required to wear protective gear until further notice.
