Warlock: I was happy that this was chosen as the next contest, right up to the point when I read that it had been changed to only Pxleyes tutorials WAY? I’m not using any of the 3d applications in the tutorial section at the moment, as I want to become more competent in my most recent 3D software, and had a tutorial in mind when I suggested this that I had been putting of because of its complexity .All this has done is restrict those of us that are not using 3d max, Maya, C4D, Zbrush and so on. Is there know way that the people that use a different application in contest on a regular basic can use an offsite tutorial? ( 5 years and 2850 days ago )
downoffthedragon: Yeah, it sucks when you make a suggestion and you can't take part in it. I made a suggestion and it ended up requiring a higher level than I had. But you can do something about it, Warlock. If you really wanted to take part in this contest, you could download Blender and use a Blender tutorial. I know that it's not what you wanted, but unfortunately that how this site is sometimes. Good luck. : ) ( 5 years and 2846 days ago )
Contest Moderator: Tutorials outside of pxl are allowed as well. ( 5 years and 2841 days ago )
downoffthedragon: No disrespect, moderator, but 3D takes some time to complete, and that information would have been nice to have a while ago!

mircea: Hmm.. i also have troubles finding a tut to follow ( 5 years and 2840 days ago )
mircea: they are either to easy or to time consuming and complex ( 5 years and 2840 days ago )

downoffthedragon: mircea: use a simple tutorial but use your advanced skills to make it fantastic! For instance, if you find a tutorial for a simple wine glass, adding a glass shader is a little more advanced to add to it and maybe a liquid and a nice background. ( 5 years and 2840 days ago )
