Step 1

Use sharp Hb pencil to draw the outline of the eye.

Step 2

Dip 11no. BRUSH in small amounts of GRAPHITE POWDER, I cover the outline with two or three layers of tone.
Using a brush will produce a very smooth effect. Try to avoid getting tone on the highlight of the iris.

Step 3

Now use number 3 BRUSH to get the shape of the eye

Step 4

Use the Eraser to clean the highlighted areas

Step 5

Fill the shadow on the upper part of the iris and the crease of the upper eyelid with 6b pencil.

Step 6

Use sharp 2b Pencil with fairly hard pressure to draw spokes originating from the pupil...also shade the lower area of iris with 2b pencil

Step 7

Use 2B pencil on the shadow areas to form the eyeball.

Step 8

Now start working on the skin. Use 2b pencil add tones to the upper eyelid and the surrounding skin, starting first on an area which will receive more graphite (in this case, the skin around the crease) and moving towards lighter areas.
You can use your finger for smudging to smoothen the pencil shading.

Step 9

Shade the eyebrow with 2b pencil and smudging as mention in previous step.

Step 10

continue shading the skin

Step 11

Use HB for the eyebrow, starting with the root of each hair and lessening pressure towards the tip.
Draw the upper eyelashes with 2b pencil

Step 12

Draw the lower eyelashes with 2b.
Also draw the reflection of upper eyelashes...it gives a more realistic look
Mix the shadow of iris using 6b pencil.

Take a look at this picture(http://images.businessweek.com/ss/06/04/sb_presentations/image/eye.jpg)...is the eyebrow of the photo facing the same direction as your drawing's eyebrow?

It's not the shape that is wrong so much as you definitely have the hair growing in the wrong direction, I suppose PERHAPS someone somewhere may have their eyebrow hair growing in the wrong direction, but 99.9% of the population have their eyebrow hair growing away from the nose and not towards it. And usually the hair is growing upwards from above the tear duct and then away as it goes further out twards the outer eye.

@niks1351: nice tutorial. Luv the way u bring out all those subtle details in it.
i dont think tht the eyebrows are facing the wrong side. It largely depends on the reference you choose & it differs with each individual.
@Giggles: it does face the wrong side, wen you dont look @ another eye other than the one in the link you provided.

you put the tear duct on the wrong side of the eye. the tear duct points inward to your nose, and from the position of the eyebrow, your tear duct seems to be pointed outwards...

Are you people freaking retarded? Clearly, this is the right eye of a person, with the tear-duct on the right-hand side. And no, the eyebrow is not in the wrong direction, because typically eyebrows don't start out thin and grow thicker; it's the opposite. If you know so much about art, stop wasting time on the internet looking for tutorials if you can't be appreciative.
