Step 1
Use sharp Hb pencil to draw the outline of the eye.
Step 2
Dip 11no. BRUSH in small amounts of GRAPHITE POWDER, I cover the outline with two or three layers of tone.
Using a brush will produce a very smooth effect. Try to avoid getting tone on the highlight of the iris.
Step 3
Now use number 3 BRUSH to get the shape of the eye
Step 4
Use the Eraser to clean the highlighted areas
Step 5
Fill the shadow on the upper part of the iris and the crease of the upper eyelid with 6b pencil.
Step 6
Use sharp 2b Pencil with fairly hard pressure to draw spokes originating from the pupil...also shade the lower area of iris with 2b pencil
Step 7
Use 2B pencil on the shadow areas to form the eyeball.
Step 8
Now start working on the skin. Use 2b pencil add tones to the upper eyelid and the surrounding skin, starting first on an area which will receive more graphite (in this case, the skin around the crease) and moving towards lighter areas.
You can use your finger for smudging to smoothen the pencil shading.
Step 9
Shade the eyebrow with 2b pencil and smudging as mention in previous step.
Step 10
continue shading the skin
Step 11
Use HB for the eyebrow, starting with the root of each hair and lessening pressure towards the tip.
Draw the upper eyelashes with 2b pencil
Step 12
Draw the lower eyelashes with 2b.
Also draw the reflection of upper eyelashes...it gives a more realistic look
Mix the shadow of iris using 6b pencil.
