Photoshop Tutorial: Create a Creepy Dark Gargoyle Road



They say it is dangerous to walk Gargoyle Road when the moon is full; that if the Gargoyle lamps glow red then danger is near. They say the Gargoyles can sense the hunger for blood and it is that prescience that turns the lamps red. They don't say who is hungry. Beware!

Right click on layer (from Step 1) and Create a "New Smart Object Via Copy" and open new Smart Object layer in Camera Raw (double click on the small box in the lower-right corner of Layer thumbnail)

Overlay and removing lamp. NOTE: Lamp should be copied and saved in a new file or layer for later use before you remove it.

If cloning it is better to do it in a layer above the original as that way you can correct any mistakes. Just be sure that you have "Current and Below" selected for your Cloning tool
